myself and another fellow elemental sword seeker tried out some other ele builds there last night, trying to find a true solo build that doesn't involve shadow form. the shadow form method is too slow, imo...15 seconds or so of fighting, and 45 seconds of waiting for SF to recharge is kinda sucky. we made some other E/D builds that work well but run into energy problems eventually, and rending sweep can throw quite the monkey wrench into the plan.

so we gave up and took turns using the standard SF build. one in, while one recharges. we cleared it super quick and got lots of nice loot, but no ele sword yet was nice to not have to tell heroes what to do, and not have to split gold with the ungrateful bastards.

Use deadly paradox + recall on someone/some hench. It will have a 30 sec recharge, just like sliver armor.

I haven't tried to solo it in a wurm, would take too long if even possible. Seems to me the best way is to have 2 E/A and swap runs in. Everything was ready to go by the time it was your turn. I only did it once and we had 4 or 5 gold drops.

Well here's what I use. The same build but Recall goes out and I use Deadly Paradox. I also use shadow of haste instead of Feigned.

Shadow Form
Silver Armor
Crystal wave
tenai's crystal's
glyph of elemental power
deadly paradox
shadow of haste
Death's charge

I go in like this:

Glyph -> Deadly Paradox -> Shadow Form -> Shadow of Haste

When Shadow Form is near the end simply use Deadly paradox. The new stance will erase Shadow and you'll Shadow Step out of there.

In my point of view this is quicker than the recall one.

2 of my friends were farming there as wurms, and opened chests too, on their 3rd run they got a req12 ele sword from chests in the temple . Maybe we just have to chestrun the temple? :O Sounds faster

Chestruns are not possible in the temple unless you click all the shrines first, the chest spawns randomly upon clicking a shrine.

sry nub to updates; so does soloing still amount more drops than running a team of 8? or does soloing mean that rarer items drop for you instead of others? if not, would farming this quest with a team of 8 wurms be plausible for finding an ele sword?

The build is nice, i use an SF build in hidden city HM though i have fire nukes on Xp. I just can't bear fighting through with henchmen just to farm, i no like walking =/

wow, that really works?
amazing. and you are doing this in HM?
wow again.
how hard is this build to maintain? do you need to pay really close attention or is it not bad? also, how long is the average HM run?

its not fast, its not easy, and if you don't know how the build works you'll be scewing it up.
But yes, it works.
